We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative Junior Planner to join our growing Land Use Planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a supportive and dynamic team environment.
Their planning team is small, tight-knit, and highly collaborative. They work with both private development clients and municipalities, supporting planning approvals and policy development. They pride ourselves on mentorship, teamwork, and delivering strong results for our clients.
Required Skills & Experience
- Assist in reviewing and processing planning applications, including plans of subdivision, site plans, rezoning, and severances
- Support the preparation of planning reports and policy documents
- Assist with the review and interpretation of planning policy under the guidance of senior staff
- Participate in public meetings, open houses, committee meetings, and council presentations
- Collaborate closely with senior planners and the planning technician on active projects
- Contribute to both private development and municipal planning work as needed
