Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Site Environment, Health & Safety Coordinator for an on-site role in Point-du-Bois, MB. The candidate will oversee the implementation of environment, health, and safety (EHS) programs, conduct safety audits, deliver training sessions, and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations. They will collaborate with team members to promote a culture of safety, lead risk assessments, and support efforts to prevent workplace incidents and injuries.

Successful applicant has the option to either commute from Winnipeg or to stay on site.

Qualifications

Experience and knowledge in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices, Workplace Safety, and Occupational Health and Safety.
Experience in heavy industry and dam projects.
Proficiency in Health & Safety program implementation and Safety Training delivery
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance with environmental and workplace safety standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage employees at all levels
Ability to identify risks and implement corrective actions effectively
Problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities
Previous experience in a similar safety-focused role is an asset
Relevant certifications, such as a Health & Safety or EHS certification, are considered an advantage

Wage dependent on experience.
