Job description
- Detailed Site Assessments (data collection, report writing, Reclamation Certificate Applications, OneStop submissions)
- Phase II ESA's (field screening, sampling collection, soil logging, interpretation of laboratory results, Record of Site Conditions, ESA reporting)
- Assist senior project managers in regards to scheduling, coordination and supervision of reclamation/remediation projects in upstream oil and gas in central Alberta
- Issue safety permits for field work and ensure compliance with current safety/ground disturbance guidelines
- Contractor selection and third party cost tracking/authorization
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have strong understanding of the current industry regulatory requirements
- Have the ability to write, compile and review applicable ESA reports
- Diploma or higher post-secondary education in Reclamation, Soil Science, Environmental Science, Biological Science, Natural Resource Management or other applicable field
- Strong organizational, communication, computer and problem solving skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel/work outdoors in varying conditions
- Self-motivated, positive attitude and an overall willingness to adapt and comply with an increasingly complex regulatory system
- Self-disciplined, ability to work efficiently and independently from a suitable and productive home-office environment under minimum supervision

Pay: $27.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Irma, AB
