Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a water treatment operations based in Ontario and Quebec. The Water Treatment Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring water and wastewater treatment systems to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal performance. Responsibilities include routine inspection, maintenance, and adjustment of plant processes, pump stations, and supporting equipment. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication with team members and supervisors to support reliable and high-quality water and wastewater management operations.
Qualifications
- Experience in Camp Operations
- Proficiency in Industrial Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment systems
- Speak and read French (Quebec positions)
- Attention to compliance standards and safety protocols
- Water and wastewater certification required
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and technical aptitude
- Ability to adapt to remote and challenging environments, as needed
