An opportunity exists for a Senior Project Manager – Water Resources to join a highly technical and collaborative team delivering complex water resources work across Canada. Our projects include drainage and stormwater management, flood mitigation, natural asset solutions, master planning, and climate resilience, spanning the full project lifecycle—from planning and analysis through design and implementation. We are seeking an experienced engineer and project manager motivated by challenging problems, impactful engineering, and the opportunity to play a meaningful role in the continued evolution of a growing, highly regarded practice.
You will play a key role on a forward-thinking team in shaping resilient water resources infrastructure solutions, advancing innovative practices (including digital tools and analytics), and strengthening client relationships. This is an opportunity to contribute to a high-performing, forward-thinking team while helping mentor the next generation of water resources professionals to teams across the company.
Your Key Responsibilities

Responsible for successfully developing and delivering work plans, to achieve scope, schedule, and contractual obligations, and proactively identify and manage delivery risk

Lead major pursuits and proposal submissions, including scope development, methodology, budgeting, and technical review

Client facing team representative for business development and positioning activities including, meetings, presentations, industry networking events, and other correspondence

Support Regional Sector Lead (RSL), Engineering Discipline Lead (EDL), and Business Centre Practice Lead (BCPL) with knowledge and recommendations regarding the water resources sector as it pertains to key market drivers, trends and major opportunities

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
