What You Will Do
As a Project Manager at QM Environmental, you will take the lead on complex construction, demolition, remediation, and environmental projects—from planning through execution and completion. You will play a key role in delivering operational excellence, promoting industry-leading health and safety practices, and strengthening client partnerships, while driving performance, profitability, and successful project outcomes.
Project Execution
- Deliver projects in alignment with contract requirements, scope, and KPIs.
- Oversee billing, field data collection, and accurate project documentation.
- Manage preconstruction submittals, site records, and project file systems.
- Delegate tasks effectively and coordinate subcontractors and field teams.
- Identify out-of-scope work, manage change orders, and optimize cost efficiency.
- Maximize job profitability and monitor financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support invoicing, reporting, and full project close‑out.
Client Relationships & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that drive new opportunities.
- Lead bid reviews, prepare responses to RFPs/RFQs, develop cost estimates, and evaluate bids.
Health & Safety Leadership
- Promote and uphold QM’s safety-first culture and compliance standards.
- Participate in EHS planning, risk assessments, and development of safe work instructions.
What You Bring
- 5-7 years of progressive project management experience in construction, remediation, demolition, or earthworks.
- Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and client-facing project delivery.
- Strong estimating experience.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and project management best practices.
- PMP certification is considered an asset.
