About the Role
We are a growing environmental services firm seeking a driven Environmental Coordinator to join our Vaughan team. This is a junior, learning-focused role offering direct mentorship from our executive leadership. Your primary goal will be mastering our quoting and RFP process while applying your regulatory knowledge to real-world soil management projects.
This position offers a clear, structured career path into a senior management role. Please note: To be successful in this role, candidates must bring an existing working knowledge of Ontario’s environmental regulations—specifically O. Reg. 406/19 and O. Reg. 153/04.
Key Responsibilities
- RFP & Quoting: Coordinate, prepare, and submit Requests for Quotes (RFQs) accurately and on time.
- Data Analysis: Read and interpret soil reports and site conditions to gather project data (soil volumes, classifications, haulage requirements) for proposals.
- Pipeline Management: Track outstanding quotes, manage CRM records, and follow up on leads and opportunities.
- Site & Logistics Coordination: Act as the operational contact for active sites, onboard vendors, and schedule daily trucks and material intake/output.
- Regulatory Application: Apply your knowledge of O. Reg. 406/19 and O. Reg. 153/04 to evaluate client procurement and guide project planning.
- Strategic Support: Assist with documenting qualifying R&D activities for tax incentive programs and support the pursuits team on strategy.
Qualifications
- Regulatory Expertise (Required): Demonstrated working knowledge of O. Reg. 406/19 (On-Site and Excess Soil Management) and O. Reg. 153/04 (Records of Site Condition).
- Education: Post-Secondary Graduate in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–3 years in sales support, quoting, or project coordination within the environmental services, construction, or civil engineering sectors.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to read soil and site condition reports. Proficient in MS Office 365 and comfortable learning new CRM tools.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple hard deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Requirements: Valid G driver’s licence and a willingness to travel regularly to client sites and our remediation facilities.

Pay: $50,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
