Overview
We are looking to hire a recent graduate with a degree in Geology. The suitable candidate must have an interest in Geology, Mapping and Modelling. Familiarity with Accumap will be an asset. You will have good command of English both written and spoken, be able to communicate effectively, work in a team environment as well as independently. You must be tech savvy with a keen understanding of Excel worksheets, databases and network settings. Potential occasional overnight shift. Must live in Calgary or commuting distance.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze geological data
- Utilize Accumap or equivalent data source
- Prepare detailed reports and visualizations
- Assist in the development of models using proprietary software
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Experience level 0-3 years maximum - others need not apply
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well group settings
Pay: $35.00-$36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 per week
