Job description
CSNN-Edmonton is a school which teaches holistic nutrition and requires an instructor for our Eco-Nutrition class on an ongoing basis.
The class is taught once or twice per week for 4 sessions @ 3 hours each for a total of 12 hours. The instructor will teach this class 2-3 times per year. It might be taught during daytime or evening, depending on the class.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who brings both knowledge and passion.
Required:
- Background in nutrition, holistic nutrition, environmental science, or related field
- Strong understanding of:
- Sustainable food systems
- Agriculture and environmental impacts
- Nutrition-health connections
- Farming practices
- Teaching, facilitation, or public speaking experience
Preferred:
- Familiarity with regenerative agriculture, food policy, or sustainability topics
- Experience teaching adult learners
- Ability to inspire behavior change and critical thinking
- Graduate or student of a holistic nutrition program (e.g., CSNN or similar)
